First character design class since April and I already feel like I’ve gotten so much better! Here’s my take on the sort of “unlikely farm hero” we were asked to design as part of a prompt. Went through a few designs before I ended up really liking this simple one.

D&D character design commission! If I’m remembering correctly, the concept here was a misguided dragonborn paladin who received a gift of power from a gold dragon (with one gold wing being a sort of token of that gift) but it’s slowly corrupting him. Really cool to work on and try and bring that out in the design!

Saw a bunch of those year-end artist reflection things where you pick a favourite piece from the beginning, middle, and end of the year, so here are mine for 2018!
This was the year that I got my hands on my first drawing tablet (around the time I did the first image), and it was super hard to pick for the second two images, because I’ve improved so drastically throughout this year that I had a lot more pieces I was proud of in the second half than the first. Anyways, I’m excited to see where things go in 2019! Let’s do this thing! Yeh!
I was doodling some Kirby stuff for potential additions to my next set of stickers (which are now up on my Redbubble - link in my blog description!) and was suddenly inspired to add a drawing of Adeleine, that adorable little painter girl who was in Kirby 64. I ALWAYS used to pick her in the multiplayer modes for some reason…
Got commissioned by @corovusin to draw Lucas, Kumatora, Duster, and Boney from Mother 3. Definitely ranking high on my “most fun I’ve ever had with a commission” list!

I wanted to draw a cozy, somewhat younger Kloe for the holidays, but I’m pretty busy with other things, so this is the best I could put together. Good enough for me though!
